Growing

Having fun with dad. (She has started saying da da)

Trying out her new chair.

Fake smile? ha ha

I love this picture of Milo

Sporting her Fort Lauderdale pride

She's a wiggly one and I feel like I have to wrestle her during baths, changing clothes, and diaper changes.

First Easter: she loves to play with ribbons and at seven months was able to sit up for long periods of time.

It's pretty easy to get a picture of her smiling

Still loves her jumper

Started eating solids at six months. She does not care for pureed baby food, but she's warming up to eating more solids each month.

Swimming in St. George
Memorial Day weekend was spent motorcycling in San Rafael Swell. It was so much fun and it's really nice to be in SLC where we can do trips like these. I will have to get the pictures up another time. Faye is such a good camper and loves being outside with all the rocks and plants to explore. These are the most up-to-date pictures of her. She's getting more and more mobile each day and as a results more blurry pictures.

home

We made it back to SLC and we're so happy to be around family and friends again. In the little time we've been back we have been able to do many fun things.

Five generations on the McCandless side at the baby blessing! Grandma Doris will be the BIG 100 this year

I've loved hanging out with Milo and Tess this year. It's great to have them so close in age, only two months apart.

Faye celebrated her first Christmas

This was when Milo and Faye first met, he's catching up in size since this picture was taken

Her usual smiling self

We were really lucky to stay at great grandma Oberg's house for a month. I'm not sure if Faye or I like it more. Grandma managed to get Faye to nap for 2.5 hours one time. Which is a big feat considering Faye tends to average at 30-45 minutes.

At four months she discovered her feet and they are much better entertainment than any of her toys are

Em and Faye hanging out a grandma's. We hang out with her as much as we can before the big move!

She got her first flowers from her daddy for Valentine's Day and enjoyed trying to eat them

This toy has been the BEST toy for Faye. She doesn't seem to get sick of it, she just learns new skills each week like how to walk in it, how to change directions, how to go backwards, etc.  She really enjoys the independence and exploring on her own. She has always seemed eager to walk. I just want her to stay a baby forever.

We go on many walks in the cold weather

Five months old and she is rolling over. She is moving more and more each month and still loves smiling at everyone.    :)

Christmas Dress and Iguanas

We're trying to get in the Christmas spirit here, but it's a bit difficult with it being in the mid-eighties. We have been having iguanas hanging out by our front door these past few weeks instead of snow. I'm not sure how Faye is going to like the cold. Much of the time the only way I can get her to take a nap is to take a short walk outside with the warm breeze, but that might have to change in Utah. She is getting very strong lately and likes to hold her head up and look around all the time. We are so looking forward to visiting this month with family and friends.
